Кейптаун на карте:. Гуляя по тропам, посетители наверняка встретят экзотических животных и птиц и изучат смотровые телескопы. Happy amazingafricaactivitytip day. Географически Кейптаун расположен практически на самом юге Африки, именно здесь находится знаменитый Мыс Доброй Надежды, от которого до ледяной Антарктиды остается уже не так и много — около км.
Про сам Кейптаун и его контрастность я рассказывала ранее. Сейчас же я хочу поведать о главных природных достопримечательностях этого города, а именно о горе Столовая, Львиная голова и Сигнальная. Итак, начнём Кейптаун украшают три замечательные горы: Столовая высотой метров, Львиная голова метров и Сигнальная метров.
Кстати, Столовая гора является визитной карточкой города, а также одним из семи новых чудес природы. Своё название она получила за счёт платообразной вершины. Находясь на площадке с кассами, мы были несколько шокированы Оказалось, что за пеший подъем как мы на тот момент поняли пришлось бы заплатить что-то около р. И тут мне сразу вспомнился Александр Супербродяга из фильма в Диких условиях Это ж гора, а не смотровая вышка в Дубае!
Мы дважды пытались проникнуть на канатку Один раз днём, а один раз прям с утра пораньше, но безуспешно: очереди Ещё пару раз пытались забраться как бы с обратной стороны горы по каким то непонятным тропкам, которые рисовали нам карты maps. Но безуспешно Я собирался отправиться на Столовую гору в пятницу, 7 февраля, и проснувшись, обрадовался, что день был солнечный и в окрестностях горы не было ветра. Если ехать не на автомобиле и не пользоваться услугами туроператора, до Столовой горы можно добраться на скоростном автобусе системы MyCiti из центрального делового района CBD или из любой части города, которую ее автобусы обслуживают.
Это самый дешевый вариант, однако в этих автобусах используется только карточная система с предоплатой, и она будет стоить вам 35 рандов, а затем на нее нужно положить минимум 35 рандов. Так что я остановил свой выбор на автобусе MyCiti, отправляющемся из центрального делового района, и когда я вышел на автобусной остановке Lower Tafelberg Подножье Столовой горы , мне было интересно, как же я доберусь до канатной дороги Столовые горы, так как на машине нужно ехать в гору минут пять, а если идти пешком, то это довольно утомительно.
Но я удивился, когда увидел бесплатную маршрутку MyCiti до Горной канатной дороги и обратно. Эта услуга, как я прочитал на рекламном щите, спонсируется Table Mountain Cableway Канатной дорогой к Столовой Горе , и не требуется карточка myconnect. Во-первых, нужно было встать в очередь, чтобы заплатить за билет стоимостью рандов, и это заняло около 10 минут. Потом я присоединился к длинной очереди, чтобы сесть в кабину. Я удивился, что очередь продвигалась быстрее, чем я думал.
Ждать пришлось меньше часа, потому что там было две кабины фуникулера, каждая из которых вмещала 65 человек, это означает, что они могут перевозить около человек в час. Кабины канатной дороги круглые, чтобы обеспечить круговой обзор и иметь хорошую аэродинамику при сильном ветре. Если вы всегда хотела попробовать серфинг, в маленьком городке Муйзенберг для этого есть все условия. Но даже если вы не планируете заниматься серфингом, в Муйзенберге есть чем заняться: можно провести день на пляже, насладиться солнцем и яркими красками пляжных домиков. Можно заехать и в Саймонс-таун по соседству, где много очаровательных кафе и небольших ресторанов с вкусной едой и приятной атмосферой.
Кейптаун полон контрастов: здесь можно увидеть роскошные виллы на берегу моря и крошечные дома-коробки бедных районов-тауншипов.
И те, и другие одинаково характерны для Кейптауна и определяют его характер. Всем интересующимся непременно нужно попасть на экскурсию по тауншипам, например по Кайелитша: это и интересный опыт, и возможность осознать многие проблемы бедного населения.
В хижинах часто нет воды и электричества, людям приходится делить небольшие комнаты - но вместе с тем, в тауншипах строятся школы, детские сады, и их тоже можно посетить.
Чтобы увидеть знаменитых африканских пингвинов, приезжайте на Пляж Валунов Боулдерс-бич. Эта прибрежная полоса к югу от Саймонс-тауна получила свое название из-за больших круглых гранитных скал, сформированных выветриванием и приливами. Здесь обитает большая колония пингвинов, они купаются в море и загорают на валунах и среди дюн.
За этими милыми животными очень весело наблюдать, гуляя по деревянному настилу вдоль берега. Совет: В Беттис-бэй, примерно в 90 километрах от Кейптауна, тоже живет большая колония пингвинов, там меньше туристов, а плата за вход очень маленькая. Историческая площадь Гринмаркет расположена в самом сердце Кейптауна. Вокруг множество музеев, художественных рынков и других интересных достопримечательностей. Рынок на площади раньше был главным овощным рынком Кейптауна, отсюда название «Зеленый рынок».
Сейчас площадь, с ее киосками, брусчаткой, уличными артистами имеет особую атмосферу, которую необходимо прочувствовать. Под звук африканских барабанов вы можете рассматривать текстиль, кожаные изделия, ювелирные украшения и прочие товары ручной работы, которые могут стать чудесными сувенирами.

Although to the human eye, these stripes seem the same, these unique stripes help other zebras tell them apart in the wild! The reason zebras even have stripes in the first place is for thermoregulation. The black stripes absorb heat from the sun and warm up zebras during the early morning, while the white stripes reflect more light and help them cool off while they stand and graze in the blazing sun of Africa all day. Our Amazing Africa Team had a great time reconnecting with new and familiar faces, and building new relationships.

After making a kill, wild dogs consume their prey as rapidly as possible before it is potentially stolen by other bigger predators, such as lions and hyenas. Unlike other types of dogs, their lower teeth are curved and blade-like. This special dental adaptation allows them to quickly tear apart and shred the carcass. Wild dogs do not fight among themselves when feeding and spoils are shared with the whole pack.
